Networking – Windows 95/97/98/ME
- Double Click on My Computer
- Double Click on Dialup Networking
- Then double click on Make New Connection
- A new window will appear, on first screen write COMSATS
in Connection Name. and Click on Next
- On Second screen write 091 in Area Code, 13111334
in Telephone Number and Pakistan (92) in Country code.
Click on Next and
- then Click on Finish
- You will see the Icon of COMSATS
in the Dialup Networking Window.
- Right click on it and Click the Properties
option.
- On General tab, Uncheck Use Country
Code and area code option.
- Click on Server Types Tab.
- Only Check Enable software Compression and TCP/IP.
- Click OK for all open windows
- Double Click on the newly made COMSATS connection and
- Enter Your user name (login id) and password with COMSATS
- Press Connect (please make sure
your modem and telephone line
is working properly and telephone line is connected with
the required modem jack.)
