Troubleshooting

Connection and Modem Problems

• Dialup networking could not negotiate to the compatible set of network protocol you specified in the server type settings check your network configuration in the control panel and try the connection again.
• The Computer you are dialing into is not Answering, Try again later.
• You have been disconnected from the computer you dialing, double click the connection an try to connect again.
• Computer is not receiving a response from the modem, check that the modem is plugged in, and if it is necessary turn the modem off, and then turn it back on.
• There is no dial tone make sure your modem is connected with the phone line properly.
• The Line is busy try again later.
• The computer you are dialing into does not establish a dial up networking connection, check your password and try again.

Email and Browsing Problems 

• Your mailbox has been locked by another POP3 session, wait up to 10 minutes and try again.
• Netscape is unable to locate the server 210.56.15.10: 8080 please check the server name and try again. 
• Netscape is unable to locate the server check your DNS configuration and try again.
• An error occurred while sending mail, the mail server responded: relaying mail to the hotmail.com is not allowed Please check the message recipients and try again.
• This program has performed an illegal operation.
• At least one incoming message was returned to the sender because it would have put your mailbox over quota. The first such message was 1012047 bytes in size, and you only have 566050 bytes left in your mailbox. (Your mailbox quota is 3072000 bytes.) To fix this situation, you should delete some of the mail in your mailbox.
• Internet Explorer can not open the Internet site http://www.cnn.com; A connection with the server could not be established.
• A Network Error occurred, Unable to connect to server ( TCP Error : no route to host ) The server may be down or unreachable. Try connecting again later.
• Netscape is unable to connect to your proxy server; the server may be down or incorrectly configured. Please verify that your proxy preferences are correct and try again, or contact the server administrator.
• Netscape is unable to locate the server 210.56.15.10, please check the server name and try again.
• An error occurred while sending mail, Netscape was unable to locate the SMTP server the server may be down or incorrectly configured. Please verify that your mail preferences are correct and try again.
• The mail server responded, Password failed for User, Please enter a new password.
• The host '210.56.15.10 ' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: ' loginname ' Server: ' 210.56.15.10 ' Protocol : POP3, Port 110, Secure (SSL): No , Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
• There was a problem logging on to your mail server . Your Password was rejected Account: 'loginname' Server: ' 210.56.15.10 ' Protocol: POP3, Server Response:'-ERR Password failed for omer', Port: 110. Secure (SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90. Error Number: 0x800CCC9.
